Karnataka State Open University KSOU Mysore has more than 300 study centres across India. University has its presence in all the major location in India.

To facilitate the student living abroad KSOU has open its study centre in Ukraine, Singapore and Malaysia.

KSOU study centres are available at all metro cities like Ahmedabad, Indore, Bhopla, Delhi and Gurgaon.
Study centres are responsible for providing necessary support to the students like Filling of form, providing books and coordinating with university. An authorize study centre have an authorization certificate.

To get an allotment for creating study centres there are norms to be fulfilled by an individual, Company, Society, Trust or any other form of organization.

Services offered to study centres are as follows-

• Authorization from the University.
• Processing of New Admission,Re- registration & Reappearing forms.
• Issue of Admit Cards.
• Issue of Study material, Results, Mark Cards, Provisional Certificates, Degrees etc.
• Examination Process.
• All information at logins.

LIST OF DOCUMENTS

NOTE: The study Centre is also required to submit the following documents/details/information in the Directorate of Distance Education along-with the application form:

Ø  Resolution of the Society/Trust for starting the Study Centre

Ø  List of faculty (bio-data with photograph, nature of appointment, qualification, teaching experience, date of joining at this centre).

Ø  List of Non-Teaching Staff with designation, responsibilities, qualifications, experience, date of joining at this centre, salary etc.

Ø  Detail of Time-Table of Theory and Practicals (if already running some courses)

Ø  List and bills of licensed Softwares/ Hardwares (Computers, Printers, Photostat Machine, Fax Machine)

Ø  List of Equipments in the Laboratories and their bills

Ø  MOU / Agreements in case there are tie ups for the Laboratories and other facilities

Ø  Detail and Bills of Library Books, Journals, Magazines and Newspapers.

Ø  Building documents:  Registry (in case of own building)/Rent Deed or Lease Deed (in case on Rent)

Ø  Proof of Experience of Running Study Centre or in the similar line.

Ø  Photocopy of Pan Card of the Society/Individual/Study Centre as the case may be.

Ø  Proof in support of Financial Position

Ø  Detail of Bank Account showing recent balance in the account.

Ø  Building Drawings/map with exact measurement in sq feets.

Ø  List of Proposed Sub Centres (if Applicable) with address.

Ø  Certificate in case of SC/ST/Ex-serviceman/Physically Handicapped (Minimum 80% handicapped) (if rebate is claimed under these categories).

Ø  Undertaking (on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 10.00) – as per specimen attached.
